The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure, Penal Code, and Local Government Code relating to matters concerning peace officers.  The bill would repeal Article 2.135 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Local Government Impact According to the Houston Police Department, no fiscal impact is anticipated.According to the Texas Association of Counties, no significant fiscal impact is anticipated.
