                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 23, 2017      TO: Honorable René Oliveira, Chair, House Committee on Business & Industry      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2112 by Romero, Jr. (Relating to certain workers' compensation reporting requirements.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  This bill would amend the Labor Code relating to certain workers' compensation reporting requirements. The Texas Department of Insurance estimates there would be a minimal savings associated with implementing the provisions of the bill, but it is anticipated to not have a significant fiscal impact. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
