The bill would amend the Special District Local Laws Code relating to the Harris-Galveston Subsidence District regulation of certain water wells.The bill would take effect September 1, 2017. Local Government Impact According to the Harris-Galveston Subsidence District, no significant fiscal impact is anticipated from the provisions of the bill.
