                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 20, 2017      TO: Honorable Larry Phillips, Chair, House Committee on Insurance      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2131 by Anderson, Rodney (Relating to the regulation of insurance adjusters.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to the regulation of insurance adjusters. Based on the LBB's analysis of the Texas Department of Insurance, it is assumed there could be a minimal impact on adjuster licenses and applications associated with implementing the provisions of the bill, but it is anticipated to not have a significant fiscal impact.
