                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 5, 2017      TO: Honorable Jim Murphy, Chair, House Committee on Special Purpose Districts      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2213 by Kacal (Relating to the dissolution of the Falls County Water Control and Improvement District No. 1.), As Introduced    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would dissolve the Falls County Water Control and Improvement District No. 1 and transfer the assets to the City of Marlin. The dissolution would take effect on the effective date of the bill. The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a two-thirds vote in each house; otherwise, it would take effect September 1, 2017.
