                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 5, 2017      TO: Honorable Donna Campbell, Chair, Senate Committee on Veteran Affairs & Border Security      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2308 by Lambert (Relating to the issuance of specialty license plates for veterans with disabilities that include the emblem from military academy license plates.), As Engrossed    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Transportation Code to include the emblem from a military academy specialty license plate among the emblems authorized to be included on a specialty license plate for veterans with disabilities. Based on the information and analysis provided by the DMV, it is assumed any costs or dutiesassociated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the agency'sexisting resources.
