The bill would amend the Family Code relating to information and services for foster children who are pregnant or minor parents. Based on information provided by the Department of Family and Protective Services, it is assumed that the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.The bill would take effect September 1, 2017. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
