The bill would amend the Local Government Code relating to investigations of misconduct by fire fighters in certain municipalities and districts.The Commission on Fire Protection anticipates no fiscal implications to state or local government from the bill.   The bill would take effect September 1, 2017. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
