The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to notice and request for a hearing regarding a vehicle that has been towed or booted.The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and the Office of Court Administration indicate they could absorb the costs associated with the bill within their current resources.  Local Government Impact According to the Office of Court Administration, the fiscal impact on local courts is not anticipated to be significant. According to the Justice of the Peace and Constables Association, the fiscal impact on justice courts is not anticipated to be significant.
