                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 17, 2017      TO: Honorable Carol Alvarado, Chair, House Committee on Urban Affairs      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2528 by Guillen (Relating to predevelopment loans provided to community housing development organizations by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Government Code relating to predevelopment loans provided to community housing development organizations by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA).TDHCA anticipates any additional work resulting from the passage of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources.The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.  Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
