                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 24, 2017      TO: Honorable Dan Huberty, Chair, House Committee on Public Education      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2790 by White (Relating to funding for certain apprenticeship training programs.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Education Code relating to funding for certain apprenticeship training programs. Based on information provided by the Texas Workforce Commission, Texas Education Agency, and Higher Education Coordinating Board, this analysis assumes the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
