The bill would amend the Election Code relating to posting the location of a polling place used in an election on the Secretary of State's website.The Secretary of State assumes there would be a one-time technology cost of $132,000 in fiscal year 2018 to implement the provisions of the bill; this analysis assumes that cost could be absorbed using existing resources.The bill would take effect on September 1, 2017.
