                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 4, 2017      TO: Honorable Roland Gutierrez, Chair, House Committee on Defense & Veterans' Affairs      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2933 by Bonnen, Dennis (Relating to the licensing and regulation of military optometrists and therapeutic optometrists who provide voluntary charity care.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend Occupations Code relating to the licensing and regulation of military optometrists and therapeutic optometrists who provide voluntary charity care. Based on the analysis of the Optometry Board, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
