                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 31, 2017      TO: Honorable John Kuempel, Chair, House Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB3009 by Paddie (Relating to parking facility owners receiving financial gain from towing companies or booting companies.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to parking facility owners receiving financial gain from towing companies or booting companies. Based on the analysis of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.  Local Government Impact According to the Texas Municipal League, there is no fiscal impact to municipalities.
