                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 10, 2017      TO: Honorable Tan Parker, Chair, House Committee on Investments & Financial Services      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB3082 by Capriglione (Relating to the investment training requirement for certain local government officers.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Government Code concerning investment training requirements for certain local officers by amending and repealing certain provisions.  The bill also re-enacts Section 2256.008(a).  Section 2256.008(a-1), of the Government Code, would be repealed.The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of each house. If the bill does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect it would take effect September 1, 2017. The bill would amend the Government Code concerning investment training requirements for certain local officers by amending and repealing certain provisions.
