RULEMAKING AUTHORITY This bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, institution, or agency. SECTION BY SECTION ANALYSIS SECTION 1. Amends Article 103.0033(b), Code of Criminal Procedure, as follows: (b) Provides that this article (Collection Improvement Program) applies only to a county or municipality with a population of 100,000 or greater, rather than to a county with a population of 50,000 or greater and a municipality with a population of 100,000 or greater. Deletes existing designations of Subdivisions (1) and (2). SECTION 2. Effective date: upon passage or September 1, 2017.
