The bill would amend the Government Code to revise selection criteria for the board of directors of the State Bar of Texas subject to criteria defined in the bill. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
