                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 29, 2017      TO: Honorable Richard Peña Raymond, Chair, House Committee on Human Services      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB3205 by Raymond (Relating to the regulation of and federal funding for certain child-care providers.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Human Resources Code relating to the regulation of certain child-care providers. Based on information provided by the Department of Family and Protective Services and Texas Workforce Commission, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.The bill would take effect September 1, 2017. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
