The bill would require the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) to annually submit a list of state agencies designated as "mother-friendly" to the standing House and Senate committees with jurisdiction over DSHS. The bill also directs state agencies, to the extent practicable, to develop policies that support breastfeeding at agency worksites. It is assumed that costs associated with implementing provisions of the bill would not be significant and could be absorbed using existing resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
