Dutton, Jr., Chair, House Committee on Juvenile Justice & Family Issues      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB677 by Wu (Relating to the sealing of records of certain juveniles placed on determinate sentence probation.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would permit a juvenile court to seal the records of a person placed on determinate sentence probation after a hearing in certain circumstances. Under current law, the records of any person sentenced to a determinate sentence, including determinate sentence of probation, are not eligible for sealing.  The Office of Court Administration anticipates any additional work resulting from the enactment of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
