 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, The tragedy of a young life cut short is a solemn
 reminder of the preciousness of our time on this earth, and the
 loved ones of Hadlee Anne Holik of Wall will forever treasure their
 memories of this special little girl, who passed away on March 14,
 2017; and
 WHEREAS, Hadlee was born on November 2, 2015, to Jason and
 Shyanne Holik; diagnosed with pediatric cancer, she fought
 courageously against the disease that would ultimately take her
 from her adoring family, and through it all, her ability to find joy
 in life never wavered; and
 WHEREAS, Well-loved and nurtured by her parents, Hadlee was
 also deeply cherished by her siblings, Kylee, Jaxon, and Maggie,
 and was always happiest when she was at home playing with them; she
 was blessed with striking brown eyes and a sweet disposition,
 traits that won her many hearts and that naturally led to the
 nickname "Angel Baby" given to her by her father; and
 WHEREAS, Although Hadlee Anne Holik's passing brings
 immeasurable pain to those who held her dear, no amount of time will
 ever fade their memories of this precious girl and the ray of light
 that she brought into their lives; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Hadlee Anne Holik
 and extend deepest condolences to the members of her family: to her
 parents, Jason and Shyanne Holik; to her siblings, Kylee, Jaxon,
 and Maggie Holik; to her grandparents, Ruben and Rhonda Holik and
 Brian and Rhonda Halfmann; to her great-grandmothers, Margaret
 Dailey and Geraldine Halfmann; to her aunts and uncles, Josh and
 Melissa Holik, Haley Holik, and Duane and Brianne Killam; to her
 cousins, Jude and Lyla Holik and Addisyn, Karter, and Lexi Killam;
 and to all others who mourn her passing; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Hadlee
 Holik.
