R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Consuelo Gonzalez has been recognized by the
Brownsville Independent School District for the integrity she
demonstrated in restoring more than $1,000 in lost money to its
rightful owner; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Gonzalez is a 17-year employee of Brownsville
ISD, and for the last 11 years, she has worked as a custodian for the
district's transportation department; and
WHEREAS, Consuelo Gonzalez has exemplified a virtue that the
Brownsville ISD seeks to encourage in its students and that is vital
to the strength of every community, and it is indeed a pleasure to
join in recognizing her for her honorable deed; now, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Consuelo Gonzalez on the principled
action that she took and extend to her sincere best wishes for the
future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Gonzalez as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
