H.R. No. 1431
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of
mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Robert Henry Fenoglio
and Patricia Ann Fenoglio of Nocona celebrated this joyous
milestone in their marriage on December 18, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Robert Fenoglio and the former Patty Kiser were
joined in matrimony in 1965 at a ceremony held at Saint Joseph's
Catholic Church in Nocona; through the years, they have been
blessed with a treasured family that includes their children,
Robert, James, and Jana, as well as their grandchildren, Caiden,
Morgan, Joyce, and Robin; and
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, the couple
owns Fenoglio Boot Company and the Veranda Inn; moreover,
Mr. Fenoglio serves as the mayor of Nocona and owns several
businesses, including an oil and gas company and a barbecue
restaurant; Mrs. Fenoglio worked as the Montague County Auditor
until her retirement in 2010 and has served on the Nocona Chamber of
Commerce Board of Directors; this inspiring husband and wife team
have further benefited their city by hosting many local events,
including the annual Nocona Community Thanksgiving Dinner, which
provides a free holiday meal to those in need; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Fenoglio have enjoyed five decades of
abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting
commitment; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Robert and Patty Fenoglio on their
50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Fenoglio as an expression of high regard
by the Texas House of Representatives.
