 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Marjorie
 Marie Moss Landers of Llano, who passed away on April 4, 2017, at
 the age of 87; and
 WHEREAS, The former Marjorie Moss was born in Llano on May 18,
 1929, to Stephen Moss Jr. and Alberta Moss; in 1949, she married
 Gordon Landers, and the couple shared a rewarding union that was
 blessed with three children, Sharon, Stephen, and Karen; their
 family later grew to include five grandchildren and six
 great-grandchildren; and
 WHEREAS, In addition to being a dedicated homemaker,
 Mrs. Landers worked full-time as a rancher; she was also active in
 her community as a member of the Daughters of the American
 Revolution and as a congregant of the First Baptist Church of Llano;
 and
 WHEREAS, Marjorie Landers enjoyed a life that was rich in the
 intangibles that matter most, and she will long be remembered with
 deep admiration and affection by all who had the good fortune to
 know her; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Marjorie Marie
 Landers and extend heartfelt sympathy to the members of her family:
 to her children, Sharon Clawson and her husband, Johnny, Stephen
 Landers and his wife, Judy, and Karen Pollei and her husband, Gary;
 to her grandchildren, Aron Horton, Jody and Walter Landers, and
 Jaydon and Justin Pollei; to her great-grandchildren, Mitchell and
 Reece Horton, Lyndi and Cole Landers, and Hudson and Samuel Pollei;
 and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Marjorie
 Landers.
