H.R. No. 2270
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Alexander Stephens has ably served his fellow Texans
as a legislative analyst in the office of State Representative
Rodney Anderson during the 85th Legislative Session; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Stephens has provided
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, The son of Kenneth and Catherine Stephens,
Mr. Stephens was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where he
graduated from Pace Academy; he holds a bachelor's degree from the
Dedman College of Liberal Arts at Southern Methodist University;
and
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his
duties as a legislative analyst with skill and dedication, and he is
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Alexander Stephens for his service as a
legislative analyst in the office of State Representative Rodney
Anderson and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
success in all his endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Stephens as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
