 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Jori Reilly-Diakun has ably served the citizens of
 Texas as a legal analyst and assistant clerk in the office of State
 Representative Joe Moody during the 85th Legislative Session; and
 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Reilly-Diakun has
 provided assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging
 tasks, and he distinguished himself through his understanding of
 environmental issues and through his diligent work for the Criminal
 Jurisprudence Committee; in addition to gaining valuable
 experience in the field of public service, he has learned more about
 the legislative process and the issues facing residents of the Lone
 Star State; and
 WHEREAS, A graduate of the College of William and Mary in
 Virginia, Mr. Reilly-Diakun holds a bachelor's degree in physics,
 and he has previously worked in the U.S. Patent and Trademark
 Office; he is currently pursuing a juris doctor degree at The
 University of Texas School of Law, and he plans to return to public
 service as an environmental lawyer after completing his studies;
 and
 WHEREAS, This noteworthy individual has performed his duties
 as a legal analyst and assistant clerk with skill and dedication,
 and he is indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work;
 now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
 Legislature hereby commend Jori Reilly-Diakun for his service as a
 legal analyst and assistant clerk in the office of State
 Representative Joe Moody and extend to him sincere best wishes for
 continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. Reilly-Diakun as an expression of high regard by
 the Texas House of Representatives.
