H.R. No. 2465
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Graduation from high school is one of life's pivotal
milestones, and Omar Robert Sanchez Jr. is celebrating that
significant achievement as a member of the Class of 2017 at the
Americas High School Libertas Academy in El Paso; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Sanchez is among the students who have completed
their secondary education in the academy's Advanced Academics
Program, which features specialized curricula focused on law,
government, and public administration; and
WHEREAS, The son of Tina Sanchez and Omar Sanchez,
Mr. Sanchez enjoyed notable success as a student-athlete during his
high school career; a member of the football team, he proved to be a
valuable teammate on the Trailblazers squad that brought home a
second consecutive bi-district championship; and
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and
friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with
promise; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Omar Robert Sanchez Jr. on the
occasion of his graduation from the Americas High School Libertas
Academy and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success
and happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Sanchez as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
