R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Graduation from high school is one of life's pivotal
milestones, and Kimberly Zubiate is celebrating that significant
achievement as a member of the Class of 2017 at the Americas High
School Libertas Academy in El Paso; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Zubiate is among the students who have completed
their secondary education in the academy's Advanced Academics
Program, which features specialized curricula focused on law,
government, and public administration; and
WHEREAS, The daughter of Elizabeth Vargas, Ms. Zubiate
participated in a number of extracurricular activities throughout
her high school career, including holding membership in DECA and
serving as the volleyball manager; she plans to continue her
education at El Paso Community College before attending The
University of Texas at El Paso to study psychology on her way to
earning a degree from Baylor Law School; and
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join her family and
friends in recognizing her as she embarks on a future bright with
promise; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Kimberly Zubiate on the occasion of
her graduation from the Americas High School Libertas Academy and
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success and
happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Zubiate as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
