R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, January 11, 2017, was indeed a special day in the
lives of Byron and Madison Smith of Huntington, for on that day they
became the proud parents of their first child, Hudson Andrew Smith;
and
WHEREAS, This charming bundle of joy weighed 7 pounds, 4
ounces, and measured 20 inches in length when he made his
long-awaited debut in Lufkin; and
WHEREAS, Blessed with an irresistible smile and a winning
personality, Hudson has brought great delight to everyone around
him, including his maternal grandparents, Robin Thomas and Lisa
Thomas, and his paternal grandparents, Darryl and Amy Smith; and
WHEREAS, Hudson begins his life sheltered in the warm embrace
of a wonderful family, and with their love, support, and guidance,
he may truly look forward to a bright and promising future; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Byron and Madison Smith on the
birth of their son and welcome Hudson Andrew Smith as a new citizen
of Texas; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the Smith family as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
