This bill would amend and reenact portions of the Human Resources Code relating to the commitment of certain juveniles to local post-adjudication secure correctional facilities in certain counties and to the release under supervision of those juveniles.It is assumed that any costs associated with the implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing agency resources. Local Government Impact According to the Texas Juvenile Justice Department, since this program is currently in place, no fiscal implication to the Travis County Juvenile Probation Department is anticipated.
