The bill would amend several sections of the Estates Code pertaining to guardianships for persons who have physical disabilities or who are incapacitated. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, Health and Human Services Commission, and Department of Family and Protective Services, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
