                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 6, 2017      TO: Honorable Charles Schwertner, Chair, Senate Committee on Health & Human Services      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB430 by Rodríguez (Relating to the regulation of the practice of dental hygiene.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the regulation of the practice of dental hygiene. Based on the LBB's analysis of the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
