                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            February 26, 2017      TO: Honorable Joan Huffman, Chair, Senate Committee on State Affairs      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB566 by Perry (Relating to the qualifications for a person conducting an adoption evaluation.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Family code to expand the qualifications of an individual appointed by a court to conduct adoption evaluations to include individuals under contract with a domestic relations office. The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.Based on the analysis of the Legislative Budget Board, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of this bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
