The bill would amend the Family Code relating to the transfer of certain suits effecting the parent-child relationship. Based on information provided by the Department of Family and Protective Services, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
