                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 25, 2017      TO: Honorable Dan Patrick, Lieutenant Governor, Senate      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB814 by Hinojosa (Relating to the board of directors of the Agua Special Utility District.), As Passed 2nd House    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Special District Local Laws Code relating to the board of directors for the Agua Special Utility District. The bill would require one of the directors to be elected by voters of the City of La Joya within the district and two directors elected at-large. The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
