The bill would amend the Special District Local Laws Code relating to the board of directors for the Agua Special Utility District. The bill would require one of the directors to be elected by voters of the City of La Joya within the district and two directors elected at-large. The bill would take effect September 1, 2017. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
