The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to an exemption from licensing requirements for certain physicians employed by a sports team. The bill would permit certain physicians to be exempt from licensing requirements under the provisions of the bill. The Texas Medical Board anticipates any additional work resulting from the passage of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
