The bill would amend the Government Code relating to a ribbon for certain members of the military forces who served in support of operations to secure the Texas border. The bill would specify members of the state military forces who shall be awarded the Texas Border Security and Support Ribbon. It is assumed that costs associated with the implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing agency resources.
