SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 369
WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and
promise, Ryan DeKoekkoek advanced through the ranks of
Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star, and Life classes before
recently attaining the rank of Eagle Scout; and
WHEREAS, In receiving the coveted Eagle Badge, this fine
young man has become one of the select few to achieve this
distinguished honor; and
WHEREAS, By conducting a service project that allowed him
to exercise his leadership abilities, Ryan has completed the
requirements for becoming an Eagle Scout and has at the same time
benefited his community; and
WHEREAS, This personable young man has brought great honor
to himself, his family, and his troop in joining the elite corps
of Eagle Scouts; and
WHEREAS, Ryan is truly a shining example to his troop and
to the young people of Texas; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
Legislature, hereby commend Ryan DeKoekkoek on earning the rank
of Eagle Scout and congratulate him on his outstanding
achievement; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
Eagle Scout DeKoekkoek as an expression of high regard from the
Texas Senate.
