SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 824 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Isaac Zeringue of Round Rock on the occasion of his graduation from the Texas School for the Deaf; and WHEREAS, Isaac's graduation is the culmination of diligent study in a curriculum designed to challenge him and broaden his knowledge; he is celebrating this milestone in commencement exercises on June 1, 2017; and WHEREAS, Isaac can take pride in having earned his diploma from the Texas School for the Deaf; the school is respected in academic circles in Texas, as well as nationally, for its quality of instruction and dedication to excellence in teaching; and WHEREAS, A talented and hardworking student, Isaac balanced his course load with participating in several extracurricular activities, including flag football, track, and wrestling; in his free time, he enjoyed practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu and drawing; and WHEREAS, Isaac can face the future with confidence that his proven abilities, learning skills, and acquired knowledge will hold him in good stead for whatever vocation he chooses; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th Legislature, hereby congratulate Isaac Zeringue on his graduation from the Texas School for the Deaf and extend to him best wishes for the future; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
