SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 878
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Adyson Aus of Copperas Cove, who won the Most Unique
Lemonade Award at the 2017 Best Tasting Lemonade Contest; and
WHEREAS, The Best Tasting Lemonade Contest is sponsored by
H-E-B each year and brings together young people from the Fort
Hood area so that they can showcase their recipes on Lemonade
Day; and
WHEREAS, Adyson won the Most Unique Lemonade Award for his
watermelon and cucumber lemonade; his distinctive recipe, with
its seemingly disparate combination of flavors, greatly
impressed the five judges; and
WHEREAS, Lemonade Day is a free program dedicated to
teaching young people how to start and operate their own
businesses, and Adyson Aus has shown the potential to be a
successful entrepreneur; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
Legislature, hereby commend Adyson Aus on his creativity and hard
work and extend congratulations to him on winning the Most Unique
Lemonade Award at the 2017 Best Tasting Lemonade Contest; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him
as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
