SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 891
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Neice Bell and Ceslie Armstrong for the successful
launch of their new magazine, Texas Hill Country Culture; and
WHEREAS, Neice Bell is the publisher of the Kerrville Daily
Times, which produces the magazine, and Ceslie Armstrong is the
magazine's editor; Texas Hill Country Culture is distributed
throughout Kerr and Gillespie Counties and at locations across
the Hill Country, and it is included in the final weekend edition
of the Kerrville Daily Times each month; and
WHEREAS, The articles in Texas Hill Country Culture are
focused on the noteworthy stories of individuals, businesses,
organizations, and celebrations in the Hill Country area; in
addition, each issue of the magazine explores a special theme of
interest, such as travel; and
WHEREAS, Texas Hill Country Culture is becoming a
compelling magazine for the Hill Country residents and visitors,
and it is truly fitting that the publication receive special
recognition; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
Legislature, hereby commend Neice Bell and Ceslie Armstrong on
their commitment to excellence in journalism and extend to them
best wishes for continued success with Texas Hill Country
Culture; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
them as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
