SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 95
WHEREAS, When they married many years ago, Aubrey Daniell
and Evangeline Jacob made a lifetime commitment to one another,
and their mutual trust has been amply rewarded, for they recently
celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary; and
WHEREAS, Aubrey and Evangeline were married on June 8,
1952, at Zion Lutheran Church in Walburg, and they continue to
live just seven miles from their hometowns of Florence and
Andice; and
WHEREAS, Much has changed in the years of their marriage,
yet Mr. and Mrs. Daniell have remained strong in their devotion,
as they have continued to cherish the traditional values that
helped inspire their bond long ago; and
WHEREAS, The couple has been blessed with a wonderful
family; their four children, seven grandchildren, and six
great-grandchildren are a source of much pride and joy; and
WHEREAS, In celebration of their anniversary, Aubrey and
Evangeline gathered with family members for two days at their
lake house on Lake LBJ; they are a beloved couple, and the love
they share is truly an inspiration to all who know them; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Aubrey
and Evangeline Daniell on their 65th wedding anniversary; and,
be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
them as a memento of this special day.
