A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the creation of an additional judicial district
composed of Denton County.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 24, Government Code, is
amended by adding Section 24.60011 to read as follows:
Sec. 24.60011. 467TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT (DENTON COUNTY).
The 467th Judicial District is composed of Denton County.
SECTION 2. The 467th Judicial District is created on
January 1, 2021.
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
