A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the requirement that the Texas Veterans Commission
provide training to support the veterans mental health program.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 434.353, Government Code, is amended by
adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
(c) The commission shall cross-train agency staff to
support the mental health program for veterans developed under
Chapter 1001, Health and Safety Code.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
