A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to financial reporting requirements for toll projects.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 372, Transportation Code,
is amended by adding Section 372.054 to read as follows:
Sec. 372.054. FINANCIAL REPORTING REQUIREMENTS FOR TOLL
PROJECTS. Not later than December 31 of each year, a toll project
entity shall publish on the entity's Internet website a report on
the entity's annual financial data, including toll revenue,
operational expenses, and outstanding debt, for each toll project
acquired, designed, constructed, operated, or maintained by the
entity.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
