H.R. No. 1499
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Christian Isaac Dominguez has been named
valedictorian of the Class of 2019 at West Oso High School in Corpus
Christi, and he indeed merits special recognition for receiving
this significant honor; and
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
highest academic standards; in securing his place as the top
ranking student in his class, Mr. Dominguez demonstrated a thorough
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his attainment of
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable
high school career; and
WHEREAS, The son of Teresa L. Cantu, Mr. Dominguez looks
forward to continuing his studies at The University of Texas, where
he plans to pursue a degree in biology; and
WHEREAS, During his years at West Oso High, Christian
Dominguez has earned the respect and admiration of both his
teachers and classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and
commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and
promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Christian Isaac Dominguez on
graduating as valedictorian of the West Oso High School Class of
2019 and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success as
he begins the next exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Dominguez as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
