H.R. No. 1657
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Dylan Fairley of Lumberton High School has been
named the Super Gold Boys' Soccer Coach of the Year by the Beaumont
Enterprise, and this achievement is indeed worthy of recognition;
and
WHEREAS, Under Coach Fairley's direction, the Raiders
enjoyed an outstanding 2018-2019 season; after capturing the
district crown, Lumberton advanced all the way to the regional
semifinals in the UIL playoffs, ending the year with a record of 22
wins, 4 losses, and 1 tie; he has been further acknowledged for his
outstanding work by being named the 2019 District 20-4A Coach of the
Year; and
WHEREAS, Coach Fairley has guided the Raiders for the past
seven years and boasts an impressive overall career record of 70
wins, 45 losses, and 7 ties; in all his endeavors, he enjoys the
love and support of his wife and his two children; and
WHEREAS, Exceptional coaches inspire athletes to perform at
the peak of their abilities, and the exemplary leadership
demonstrated by Dylan Fairley makes him a most deserving recipient
of this prestigious honor; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Dylan Fairley on being named the
2019 Super Gold Boys' Soccer Coach of the Year by the Beaumont
Enterprise and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Coach Fairley as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
