H.R. No. 1694
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The service of an admired Menard County elected
official drew to a close when Ann Kothmann retired as county clerk
in 2018; and
WHEREAS, During her time in office, Ms. Kothmann served her
fellow citizens with distinction, completing a notable tenure that
spanned four years; and
WHEREAS, Through her dedicated leader
ship and commitment to
good governance, Ann Kothmann has helped make Menard County an even
better place in which to live and work, and she has set a standard of
excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Ann Kothmann on her retirement as
county clerk for Menard County and extend to her sincere best wishes
for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Kothmann as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
