A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to abolishing the requirement for risk-based inspections
of used automotive parts recyclers.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The heading to Section 2309.106, Occupations
Code, is amended to read as follows:
Sec. 2309.106. PERIODIC [AND RISK-BASED] INSPECTIONS.
SECTION 2. Sections 2309.106(c) and (d), Occupations Code,
are repealed.
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
